Captured on 2026-09-30. Screenshots use fictional sample documents while showing the actual product UI.
01
Start without signing up
The landing page takes you straight to the resume input.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1Select “Analyze my resume” to jump to the input form. No account or card is required to start.
2Select “See a sample report” to inspect a fictional example. A sample report is not an analysis of your own documents.
If you are new, open the sample report first to see what the output looks like.
02
Paste or upload your resume and job posting
PDF, DOCX, TXT upload and direct paste are both supported.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1Paste your resume into the left field or use “Upload file” for PDF, DOCX or TXT. Remove unnecessary personal details first.
2Paste the full posting, including responsibilities, requirements and preferences, on the right. Leave it blank to start with a resume-only check.
3Choose whether to retain your resume in this browser. With this off, saved reports keep scores and verdicts but not resume text or quoted lines.
4Select “Analyze against this job” and keep the tab open without reloading. With no posting, the button becomes “Check my resume”.
Turn on browser storage if you want to compare the same resume against several postings.
03
The score is not a hiring probability
The report overview summarizes fit between these two documents.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1Read the overall match and verdict. This measures document fit, not your probability of being hired.
2Read the narrative for strengths, missing evidence and changes to make first. Check AI judgments against the original documents.
3Read the weighting explanation. Use the “Fit / Resume / Strategy” tabs to explore the rest of the report.
Treat the score as navigation. The reasoning below it is the part to act on.
04
Requirements are judged by evidence
Each posting requirement is checked against lines found in your resume.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1“Covered” means the resume contains evidence for the requirement. Check the quoted line or employment-period calculation below it.
2“Partial” means related evidence exists but does not establish the whole requirement. Add specific scope only if you actually performed it.
3“Not found” means evidence was not located in the resume, not that you definitely lack the skill. Never add experience you do not have.
Read “needs confirmation” as a document issue, not as a verdict on your career.
05
Open the full-report preview
In the current capture, it describes the free beta feature boundary.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1Select “See the full report” in a result to open this panel. The list describes detailed gaps, keywords, rewrites and strategy.
2Review the posting-specific plan and displayed price. At capture time the panel said “Payments are not live yet”; no purchase was made.
3At capture time “Unlock the full report” enabled a free preview for the current session. If availability changes, read the current price and payment notice first.
The free report is still enough to spot requirement evidence and major risks.
06
ATS readiness is an estimate
JobAgent checks whether the document is likely to be machine-readable.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1In the “Resume” tab, start with parseability. A high score means text is readable by a parser, not that the career content is strong.
2The notice explains these are measured proxies, not an employer’s actual ATS output. Also review section completeness and formatting risk.
3Use “Priority fixes” as a checklist. Add missing keywords only when backed by real experience.
Use it as a checklist for readability, not as a company ATS score.
07
Apply only factual edits
Use Apply and Ignore to decide which suggestions belong in your draft.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1Select “Apply” to reflect a suggestion in “Your draft” on the right. Read the proposed line and reason, and accept only factual changes.
2Use “Ignore” for an unsuitable suggestion. Fill [N] and bracketed placeholders with verified facts, or remove the line.
3Select “Copy draft” to copy the revised text. Review it yourself and adapt it to the application format.
4Select “Download .txt” for the resume draft. To keep the entire report instead, use “Save as PDF” at the top of the report.
A placeholder is not for AI to fill. Replace it only with a fact you can defend.
08
Review the application strategy
The report organizes positioning, application channel, cover-letter angle, and interview prep.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1In the “Strategy” tab, read the positioning advice to connect your experience to this specific posting.
2Consider the recommended application channel, but follow the employer’s actual submission and contact process.
3Use the cover-letter angle to draft your own application message. Replace sample wording with your real experience.
4Read the timing advice and make quick factual improvements first. Continue below for recruiter concerns and interview questions.
Use the Strategy tab after editing, when you are preparing the actual application message.
09
Saved means local browser storage
Saved analyses live in this browser, not in a cloud account.
The red numbers on the screenshot match the numbered notes below.
1Set “Needs resume update / Ready to apply / Applied / Interviewing / Closed” yourself. This status is not synced to an employer’s hiring decision.
2Select “Open” to revisit the report. If resume retention was off, some quotes and revisions may be absent, and a re-run needs another resume paste.
3“Delete” removes one report. Use “Save as PDF” inside an important report before deleting it.
4“Delete everything” clears saved analyses and retained resume data in this browser. This is not a cloud library synced across devices.
For anything important, also save a PDF instead of relying only on browser storage.
Now try it with your own resume.
A resume alone is enough to start. Adding a posting gives you requirement-level evidence and a sharper application strategy.
